Tootsie is a beautiful young female Cross-Breed puppy looking for her forever home in the UK.

She is one of our gorgeous little trio alongside Daisy and Messy, and although they're only youngsters, we're already seeing their individual personalities beginning to shine through.

And Tootsie certainly knows how to work a camera!

We have joked that Tootsie and her friends may be our next TikTok influencers, because this confident little girl seems perfectly happy being the centre of attention.

But behind the cute videos is something very important about the way Tootsie is being raised.

Raised in a Home, Not a Kennel

Tootsie is growing up in our small, cage-free, home-based rescue in Bulgaria.

Our puppies live alongside us and the other dogs. They experience the noises, routines, visitors, cuddles and general chaos of everyday home life.

They play together, sleep together, learn from the adult dogs and become accustomed to humans being a normal and positive part of their world.

For a young puppy like Tootsie, we believe this gives her a wonderful foundation for the next stage of her life.

She receives plenty of affection, good food, veterinary care and, perhaps most importantly, the opportunity simply to be a puppy.

Tootsie’s Personality

Tootsie is a happy, engaging and affectionate little girl who enjoys being around both people and her canine friends.

She's curious about the world around her and is developing into a lovely little character.

Of course, Tootsie is still a puppy.

Her adopter should be prepared for all the usual puppy adventures — continued house training, lead training, learning boundaries, discovering things she probably shouldn't chew and occasionally pretending she has absolutely no idea what the word “NO” means!

That is all part of raising a puppy.

What Tootsie needs is someone prepared to continue the excellent start she is receiving with routine, reward, repetition and plenty of love.

The Home Tootsie Needs

We are looking for a loving, committed home where Tootsie will be treated as part of the family.

She will need appropriate daily exercise and stimulation as she grows, continued positive training and plenty of opportunities to experience the world.

Having another dog is not essential simply because Tootsie currently lives with dogs. We consider each application individually and look at the complete home and lifestyle being offered.

We don't believe the perfect adopter can be identified by ticking boxes.

We believe in matching the right dog with the right people.

From Bulgaria to Her Forever Home

Tootsie is currently being cared for at our rescue in Bulgaria and is available for adoption to the UK.

Before travelling, she will receive the appropriate veterinary preparation for her age and legal travel requirements, including her microchip, vaccinations, passport and health preparation.

When the time finally comes, she'll leave the little Bulgarian home where her new life began and board The Precious Pups Express for the journey to her forever family.

And that is the part of Tootsie's story we are waiting to write.
