Meet River, a gorgeous little boy with a beautiful face, a heartbreaking beginning and a wonderful future just waiting to happen! 💙🐾
River is one of a litter of puppies who were cruelly thrown into a river here in Bulgaria. Thankfully, these precious little lives were rescued and given the second chance they so desperately deserved.
And his name? Well, our wonderful rescuer Marie has quite a talent for naming our dogs after the places and circumstances in which they are found! So, naturally, this handsome little survivor became River! ❤️
But we think this beautiful boy deserves to be remembered for something much happier than his beginning.

River is a handsome, healthy young rescue puppy with all the promise of a wonderful family companion.
He is now enjoying the safety, comfort and companionship of our small home rescue, alongside his brothers and sisters.
Like all young puppies, River has plenty to learn about the world, and his new family will have the pleasure of watching him grow, develop and discover all the lovely things life has to offer.
We would love to see River enjoying countryside walks, playing with his toys, snoozing on a comfortable sofa and, most importantly, knowing that he is safe and loved.
