Meet Monty

Monty is one of those dogs who steals hearts within minutes of meeting him.

This handsome Cocker Spaniel was sadly abandoned and left to fend for himself on the streets of Bulgaria. Understandably, it must have been a confusing and frightening experience for a dog whose greatest wish is simply to belong to someone.

Thankfully, those days are now behind him.

Today, Monty is safe in our small, cage-free home rescue, where he has quickly become a firm favourite with everyone who meets him.

A Truly Wonderful Temperament

We've been waiting for Monty to reveal some terrible habit...

He hasn't.

He's calm, affectionate, gentle and incredibly easy to have around.

He loves human company, enjoys relaxing with us and has settled beautifully into family life. Monty is the type of dog who simply wants to be included in whatever you're doing, whether that's a countryside walk, relaxing in the garden or curling up beside you on the sofa.

If we're honest, the biggest problem with Monty is that you'll probably end up with thousands of photographs of him on your phone!

Monty's Perfect Home

Monty would make a wonderful companion for a couple, family or individual looking for a loyal and loving dog.

He's reached that lovely stage of life where he's left the puppy chaos behind but still has many years of adventures, holidays, cuddles and companionship ahead of him.

Monty's adoption fee includes:
