Meet Brook, an adorable rescue puppy from Bulgaria who survived an unimaginable start in life and is now looking for a loving forever home in the UK.

Brook is one of a beautiful litter of puppies who were cruelly thrown into a river in Bulgaria. Thankfully, they were rescued and given a second chance at life.

And the name Brook? Well, our wonderful rescuer Marie has quite an imagination when it comes to naming our dogs! Given where this little puppy was found, we think Brook is a rather fitting name.

Despite such a heartbreaking beginning, Brook is now a happy, healthy little puppy, enjoying life surrounded by love, care and plenty of puppy companionship.

Unlike traditional kennel-based rescues, our dogs live freely in our small, cage-free home rescue in Bulgaria.

Brook and the other puppies are cared for as part of our extended family, experiencing everyday household life, human companionship and interaction with other dogs.

This also means we get to know our puppies personally and can help potential adopters choose a dog that is well suited to their home and lifestyle.

What Is Included When You Adopt Brook?

We believe in providing the full monty when preparing our rescue dogs for adoption and travel to the UK.

Brook's adoption preparations include:

• Microchipping and an EU pet passport

• Appropriate blood testing

• Veterinary health examinations

• Parasite treatments as required

• All necessary documentation for legal UK entry

• Professional transport from Bulgaria to the UK on our Happy Bus

All veterinary and travel requirements will be completed as appropriate for Brook's age and departure date.
